<p>Below are links to some things I referenced in class Tuesday and to a a couple of new things that I heard on the radio yesterday that are pertinent to our conversations in class.</p>
<p>First, the Apple 1984 commercial:<br />
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OYecfV3ubP8&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OYecfV3ubP8&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>Here is the link to the podcast of the interview with Fred Turner,<a href="http://will.illinois.edu/focus580/interview/focus100126a/" target="_blank">&#8220;Designing for Democracy in the American Counterculture&#8221;</a> that I summarized at the end of class.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Now here are two interesting podcasts form NPR&#8217;s All Things Considered. The first is a commentary about e-readers from author Eric Weiner and the second is a story about why if Jesus were alive today he would have a blog (it&#8217;s really a story about the Pope&#8217;s call for priest&#8217;s to blog).</span></p>
<p><embed src="http://www.npr.org/v2/?i=122822760&#38;m=123035456&#38;t=audio" height="386" wmode="opaque" allowfullscreen="true" width="400" base="http://www.npr.org" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed><embed src="http://www.npr.org/v2/?i=123024977&#38;m=123035028&#38;t=audio" height="386" wmode="opaque" allowfullscreen="true" width="400" base="http://www.npr.org" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed></p>
